an idea for a new effect widget

I want to know if I can load an .xaml animation in DesktopX for starters. How? and if not?
How can I load a .swf and stretch it to the dimentions of window "x" for an animated glow, pulse, shadow effect behind the Glass Vista windows?

Is this possible in DesktopX or am I shooting too high?

if it is what do you suggest.

To answer your questions. I think the only way to load on .xaml animation is through an additional com object if one exists?

It's not natively supported.

To answer your second. You can only use/load an swf file in an Explorer control which wouldn't suit your end goal.

IMO you could easily add those effects using animated png's. It would also be significantly smaller & more efficient.

And DesktopX allows you to add glow to objects via the Object's properties. That means it can be tweaked dynamicly, even via scripting.

What programs other than DesktopX Would be suitable for this idea
